Membership Changes from BE... and what it means to our members


You may have seen that Basketball England have recently run a series of Roadshows to promote the changes to their membership portal, which come into effect in July.


The membership portal is changing to become more member-driven. This means that the club will not be able to simply register every player - but that players (or parents) will be responsible for registering players to the club.


In light of this, we have arranged a "Sign Up Day", between 15:00 and 20:00 on Sunday 21st July, in the Committee Room at Moreton Hall Community Centre.


We're asking all members looking to sign-on for the season to book-in a timeslot with us using the contact form here. If you're away on the day in question, please don't panic, we'll be able to work with you at a later date to get you registered - however, it's REALLY important that the majority of the club attend on this date to get signed-up.


To help everything to run more smoothly, we'd also really appreciate it if our members would (where possible) bring a laptop along to the meeting - as this will allow you to save your login details and manage your own membership portal in the future.


Membership fees for the 2019/20 season will be confirmed following the 2019 AGM, which is held at 18:30, 7th July 2019 at Moreton Hall Community Centre.
